Associates

I am delighted to work with a couple of very trusted associates, with senior leadership and management expertise:

Colin Sloss

Colin Sloss is a fintech and financial services consultant with more than 40 years of experience across wealth management, adviser technology, and investment strategy. He started his career as an independent financial adviser within an accountancy practice, giving him first-hand insight into the challenges and opportunities facing advice businesses.

Colin spent 13 years at Misys (now Sesame), where he supported the growth of UK IFA networks. He then joined National Australia Bank, including a period based in Sydney, where he helped develop and launch a specialist investment proposition for the UK intermediary market.

He is best known for his 21 years at Iress, where he led technology and transformation initiatives across The Exchange, 1st Software, Avelo, and Iress itself. He worked closely with advisory and wealth firms to help them respond to regulatory change and implement solutions that support compliance, growth, and better client outcomes.

As an associate of Silverback Consultancy, Colin works with firms on M&A strategy, technology projects, business transformation, and frameworks for sustainable growth. He’s passionate about helping clients use technology in smarter, more strategic ways. Outside of work, Colin is a keen golfer and an active member of Copt Heath Golf Club.
