Hi , I’m Paul, founder of Silverback Consultancy.

Thanks for being here. I have 50 years experience in the financial adviser sector. I worked for a product provider for 10 years, had my own Financial Adviser Firm for 20 years, and Consultancy for 20 years.

I’m passionate about helping firms with their business strategy, structure, and processes to accelerate the growth of their businesses.

Time after time, I recognised that most financial adviser firms made the following mistakes:

• Poor understanding of how to restructure their businesses to allow for growth

• A lack of framework for the organisation that has clearly defined leadership responsibilities and accountabilities 

• A poorly executed proposition with a lack of regulatory robustness or brand control

I made it my mission to help revitalise these businesses, and help them thrive in today’s digital world.

Together with my associates, we have helped hundreds of clients:

• Organise their business for growth

• Define areas for greater efficiency 

• Develop roadmaps for enhanced performance

I do this by reviewing all aspects of the business and implement new business processes to ensure growth plans are achieved. I then hold the team accountable for the new strategy.

I am also a regular keynote speaker and an experienced facilitator.

I have a wide range of contacts in the financial services sector and beyond, and am more than happy to facilitate introductions.

Outside of work I spend a lot of time with my family and volunteering in the Charity sector. I am a member of the MCC and QPR, and also an enthusiastic amateur photographer.

I am a Trustee of a number of charities, Lindengate Mental Health Charity, Wendover Shed, and DOG AID, I am also an ambassador for the CSR Accreditation organisation.
